Description
Tropiko is made of Nylon with RipStop treatment and triple double-sided siliconization, guaranteeing a water column with a height of 4,000 mm. The seams of the tropics are not taped, but expansion threads are used, which multiply their volume in contact with water and thus seal the hole in the needle.
The floor is made of Nylon with a Polyurethane coating with a water column of 10,000 mm.
The rods consist of DAC Featherlite NSL 7001 T6 duralumin segments with a diameter of 8.5 mm and 7 mm.
Thanks to its packability, this tent is very popular among bikers, cyclists and minimalists.

Ventilation
It is located at the top of the side walls and at the foot. The roofs of the ventilation windows are shaped so that they are not tilted by the wind. This prevents leakage even in rain with strong winds.
Conception
The tent is based on the principle that the rebar structure is strung in tunnels outside the tropics. The tropic and the inner tent (hung from the inside of the tropic) are built at the same time after the rods have been threaded. The main advantage of this concept is that the inner tent can be unbuckled from the tropics and the tropics can be erected separately as a single-layer tent without a floor. Other benefits are:

- it does not get wet inside the tent during construction in the rain
Tent construction
We build the tropic by passing the rod through a tunnel. Insert the ends of the rod into the brass eyelets on the loops of the lower edge and erect short segments in place of the legs. The tent is not self-supporting, it is necessary to anchor it with at least a minimum number of pegs (4 pcs). During the first construction, we will hang the inner tent in loops on the inner side of the tropics. Finally, we turn off the tropico with plastic clips at the bottom edge of the tent, or we turn it off with tension cords.
